It has never been easier to keep in contact

ICQ for the J2METM platform allows you to communicate with other ICQ users anywhere in the world from the J2METM mobile phone - whether your friends are connected using a desktop computer, or a mobile handset of a cellular provider that supports ICQ.

A rich range of features is at your command:

  • You can send ICQ messages to online and offline wireless contacts.
  • Receive clear indications of message arrival - the message sender's nickname flashes above the Wireless Contact List and displays as the top entry on the List. Also an "envelope" shaped icon appears next to the message sender's nickname.
  • Manage your Wireless Contact List - search for old & new friends, add or remove contacts.
  • Retrieve your contacts' ICQ details such as email, first and last names and more via the ICQ for the J2METM Platform mobile phone.
Never Miss that Important Message

During an ICQ for the J2METM Platform session you can easily leave ICQ to accept a phone call, or work in another of the mobile phone's applications, without having to go offline. In this situation you continue to receive ICQ messages. When a new ICQ message arrives, a notification pops up on the mobile phone display. The notification contains a link for restarting ICQ and reading the new message.
